Zones from official neighbourhood boundaries
Customers type their address and the site answers in one sentence: the zone, minimum order, delivery fee and phone number.
Ordering system
Website, online ordering, admin panel
A website for a sushi restaurant in Imanta where customers browse the menu, check their delivery zone and order in a few taps, and a panel where the owner runs the menu, promotions and home page content.
Open the live site - sushifamily.lvA design adapted to every device. The layout, menu and buttons are designed for a large monitor and for a phone alike.

Customers type their address and the site answers in one sentence: the zone, minimum order, delivery fee and phone number.
An interactive map of every zone, with the minimums and fees right below it.
12 categories and ingredient filters. Every dish shows its portion, weight, price and allergens, and goes into the cart with one tap.
One-screen checkout with no account. The server re-checks every price and sends the order to the restaurant - and if sending fails, the customer is offered a call or WhatsApp straight away.
Two languages
Latvian and Russian, with every page and dish translated. The site opens in the visitor's language, and switching keeps the cart.
Menu with filters and allergens
136 dishes in 12 categories with portion, weight, price and allergens. Larger categories have ingredient filters, and a separate page lists the 14 EU allergens for every dish and sauce.
Promotions and discounts
The old price is crossed out next to the new one, and a promotions page collects every offer. The "New" label disappears by itself after 30 days.
Lunch offer and combo deals
The lunch offer shows on the home page only during weekday lunch hours, saying whether it is active or when it starts. In combo deals the customer picks the dishes.
Cart and one-screen checkout
The cart is kept for a week and always takes prices from the live menu. The address gets an instant zone check, plus cutlery count, a comment and a promo code; outside the delivery area, pickup is offered instead.
Orders sent by email
The server checks and re-prices every order, sends it to the restaurant and sends the customer a confirmation in their language.
Delivery address and zone check
The zone comes from official Rīga neighbourhood boundaries, and the answer is one sentence with the zone, minimum, fee and phone number.
Delivery zone map
An interactive map of every zone with a table of minimums and fees.
Opening status and holiday hours
Shows whether the restaurant is open now, in Rīga time. Holidays can be set to closed or different hours, and the whole site follows, search engine data included.
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity
Google Analytics tracks visits and orders, while Microsoft Clarity shows heatmaps and session recordings. Both load only after the visitor accepts cookies.
SEO and a summary for AI assistants
Search metadata in both languages, a sitemap, structured data and a sharing image per language. The site also publishes a summary for AI assistants so they answer accurately about the restaurant.
Menu editor
Categories and dishes in both languages with photos, prices, portions, weights, allergens and availability hours; order changes by drag and drop. Kitchen staff can only mark dishes sold out. Changes go live within a minute.
Promotions manager
A discount on any dish, with old and new prices per size, switched off in one click when it ends.
Popular dishes and labels
The owner picks and orders the home page's "Popular" row and attaches labels, including up to 12 of their own.
Home page slides and banners
Up to 5 home page slides with their own images and links in each language, and up to 4 offer banners with a preview before publishing.
Staff roles
Owner and kitchen roles, with invites and password reset links.
Order security and spam protection
Every order is validated and re-priced on the server, so prices can't be tampered with in the browser. A hidden bot trap and a per-visitor rate limit stop spam orders.
Automated testing
Tests cover every customer flow from the menu to the order email, the zone check against real addresses, opening hours at fixed times of day and an accessibility audit against WCAG 2.1 AA.
